Federal Secure Support Center
All remote monitoring, technical support, and customer dispatch services for our Federal government customers are conducted within our Federal Secure Support Center. To comply with Information Assurance requirements, this Federal Secure Support Center operates in accordance with the U.S. Government and DOD National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and specific guidance from DOD agencies. The support facility is secured with multiple physical access controls and video surveillance.
We require all authorized staff to maintain appropriate government clearances based on the agencies they support. Support employees have access only to the data required to support the customer networks. We maintain separate monitoring and case management databases that reside on an isolated network to service our federal customer base, and these resources are only accessible from within the secured facility. In addition, we provide encrypted connectivity to our customers for all remote management services.
F ederal Technical Center
The Motorola Federal Technical Center (FTC) is staffed with accredited, FCC-licensed technicians that use computer-aided diagnostics and automated test equipment to service subscriber radios for the Federal government. Located in Lanham, Maryland, the FTC is Factory Mutual certified to repair and restore intrinsically safe radio equipment and has been ISO certified since 2001. The FTC offers a broad range of radio lifecycle support services designed to expand equipment functionality and help maximize the performance of the customer’s communications system.
Federal System Technology Group
The Federal System Technology (FST) group installs, optimizes, troubleshoots, and maintains equipment for our Federal customers in the field. Many System Technologists in the FST group hold multiple security clearances to better serve our varied federal clientele.
The FST group often works in conjunction with the Systems Integration group during initial implementation, and FST support is available for all Motorola platforms. The FST mission is to ensure that our systems meet the stringent requirements of Triad and our customers at the time of final system acceptance and beyond.
All System Technologists receive ongoing training to guarantee their ability to perform whenever and wherever needed in the field. The FST group maintains personnel at numerous locations across the United States to ensure a prompt response.
In addition, the FST group has direct access to other resources including Quality Representatives and Product Group and Design Engineers. |
